There is extensive live wildfire data from across Canada. The external resources in this collection will help users find relevant up-to-date information from trusted places and develop a greater understanding of the extent of wildfire activity in Canada. It does not include live evacuation information or live status updates from individual wildfires, except where provided by the resources themselves.

Canadian Wildland Fire Information System
The newly redesigned Canadian Wildland Fire Information System monitors fire danger conditions and fire occurrences nationwide. Current and forecast fire weather and fire behaviour maps are produced using weather data from across Canada. Wildland fires are detected by satellites and reported fire locations are collected from fire management agencies.
CIFFC Active Fires Map and Situation Report
CIFFC publishes daily updates and statistics on active wildfire activity across Canada, visualized in an interactive map as well as situation reports.

FireView 2026
The FireView map and table illustrate the location and status of current wildfire activity in Manitoba. The tabular information is derived from the end of the previous business day, so any changes to today's fire activity will be reflected in tomorrow's product. FireView is updated hourly between 11:05 am and 3:05 pm with the most current tabular and map data available at that time.
