Join us for our next Nova Scotia Climate Adaptation Community of Practice event. This in-person event will focus on how we can prepare for wildfires and become more resilient, highlighting individual and household resilience, recovery from wildfire events and community based examples. Kara McCurdy, Director of Wildfire Resilience at Transitional Solutions Inc. will lead presentations and activities alongside Mimi O’Handley, Atlantic Maritime Regional Coordinator at the Wildfire Consortium of Canada, CLIMAtlantic and Government of Nova Scotia’s Department of Environment and Climate Change. The event is free to attend and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so register early!
