Canadian Urban Forestry Conference

Hosted by: Tree Canada

The conference will bring together the most influential voices in urban forestry from across the country to share their knowledge and stimulate discussion and innovation in strategies, policies, technologies, research, and best management practices in urban forestry. CUFC 2026 will focus on the theme of sustainable urban forest growth and resilient communities. As our cities continue to expand and grow denser in response to demographic changes and development pressures, the need to protect, expand, and integrate urban forests into our living environments has never been more critical. The theme will guide essential discussions on how urban growth can be harmonized with ecological integrity, climate change adaptation, equity, and community well-being.
